Emerald Bay acquired a notorious Motel and restaurant on this busy corner on Sumner's Main Street. Demolition and redevelopment of the existing blight brought exciting new energy and businesses to this important intersection in the city. Project challenges included soft soils, cross access with adjacent parcels, and incorporation of Sumner's Main Street Plan into the development. The resulting project became a model of development in this growing community.
