Emerald Bay Equity principals, and our development partners, transformed an underutilized truck terminal property, located adjacent to the I-880 freeway, into a thriving retail center. Our team worked with Caltrans, the City of Hayward, and Target Stores to reconfigure access into our site and the neighboring retailers. This was done to allow full access movements immediately adjacent to the highway interchange. These access improvements and the strong freeway visibility attracted national retailers such as Curcuit City and Starbucks into the project.
